GDPR Privacy Notice 2022

Personal Information gathered by Newpark Sports Centre will be stored securely and only used for the purposes of your class or membership.  We never share personal information with third parties or organisations, unless legally required to do so.  We will only store data provided by you and will never gather information from a third party.

We will, with your consent, use the information you provide to contact you with information relating to re-enrolment for courses you attend, important dates and class updates and / or renewal of memberships and offers relating to these.  We may also, on occasion, ask you for feedback relating to the services you use in Newpark Sports Centre. 

You will be able to opt out at any stage by following the link at the bottom of our e-mail or advising reception you wish to be removed from the mailing list.

Health information, including the pre-activity screening form, is collected for the health and safety of centre users.  This information is held confidentially and shared only with instructors as needed to insure safe programming and effective teaching.  This information is not mandatory but is recommended for your own safety in the centre.  Failure to share relevant information may result in increased risk of injury.

All individuals are entitled to request a copy of any information that may be collected and stored by Newpark Sports Centre.  This request should be made in writing to the Manager and all information will be provided no later than 30 days after the request has been received. 

Should you wish to see any personal information retained by Newpark Sports Centre please request in writing and we will be happy to provide you with this.  Should any of your information be incorrect we will amend your records to correct this. Furthermore, if at any stage you wish to have your data erased from our system you may request it and we will do so.

CCTV cameras are in operation throughout the centre and on the premises with a retention period of 30 days, after which data will be deleted. Images are recorded for the purpose of crime prevention and public safety.  Data will only be shared if legally required with the appropriate authorities when necessary.
